well just wanted to post this so everybody can post if they have accomplished everything they had said earlier during the year about what they wanted to have on their trucks by the end of 2005....
well I think I accomplished a hole lot more than what I planned, I just wanted a damn hypertech programmer!!
thanks to ya'll I spent a few grand on my truck this year!!
but it is well worth it..... I went from running a 15.5 back in Jan. to a 14.2 last month, couldnt make it to the track this month to try and get a new best but I am pretty happy with what I got,,,,,,,,,,,, for now!
we'll see how big the 2006 goals are when the new year rolls in....

I found the site in March or April right after I almost totaled my truck. My goal was to get into the 14's all motor. I think I acheived that. I had planned on a 6l swap closer to getting it paid off, but oh well, blew the 5.3, and with some serious tuning issues Im running 14.2's on the 31's spinning all 4, and running 13.7's with some sticky tires
I feel like I accomplished my goals. Goal for next year is 12.99 hopefully on motor.

Well, I was kinda dissapointed when my
truck blew 2 driveshafts in less than a
week, damaging the gas tank and trany.
But then I saw a sig from somebody that
aid, " If it breaks, build it stronger", and
that's what I'm doing. Now that I'm fixing
her back up, I'm putting in a built 4L60e, a
3000 tc, a custom built driveshaft, Tr224+
springs, and hope to finish before new year.
See if I can update my times on next year.

I did not meet my goals. I was hoping to get the 5.3 into the 12's on motor and 11's on gas but due to unfortunate events, it never saw any good weather or else I think I could have done it. Now with the new motor, goals for 2006 will be set a little higher. Low 12's on motor and low 11's on the gas.

I could say that I did achieved my goal more than I wanted to. I justed wanted to hit a 13 but instead I got a 12 second time slip
. I owe this to what happened last december, 2004. Busted timing chain and bent valves just pushed me to install a cam. Sounds dumb
but I am kind of glad that happened.
