Thanks everyone for the nominations!
I bought my 1999 Z71 Silverado in 2001.It was my DD that I put wheels,tires,5 different exhausts,FIPK,Westers tune and my old stereo.
Through the years I've had a few different hobbies : street bikes[I'd have to get a divorce to have another one.],quad and 454SS.Well I've had a company vehicle about 8 years now,so my Silverado has become my hobby.
Here are a few pics through the years and all the changes,unfortunately I don't have any pics from when I first bought it.
My friend Josh[sureshot] and I have done all the mods to my truck and his also.Also Justin from Blackbear is my tuner, he makes all this work.
Here are the current mods on the truck:
Fabtech 6" lift,16x10 Ion wheels,BFG 305/70 r16,Powerslot rotors,Hawk pads,stainless brake lines,14 bolt SF rear,Eaton diff.,Yukon 4.11 gears,driveshaft,FLT lvl5,TT3000[it will be changed to a Circle D by the time this posts],Bosch 044,Motron 60's,LQ4,Vinci trucker cam,pushrods,yellow springs,Procharger D1SC with 3 core FMIC,PLX wideband,boost gauge,Denali cluster,Pacesetters LT's,ORY,Corsa exhaust with Magnaflows,Permacool fans and I still probably forgot things
Here are a few recent pics:
It ran a 12.83 @ 103 last fall on a cold day, just like I drive it on the street.I've made a lot changes since then.Some are for performance,some for durability and some to make it more fun on the street.So I'll try for 12's again in a few weeks but some of the changes will slow it down.We all know the mods never end, my wife probably wishes they did.
