Default TSB on rear diff....

Anybody hear of this? Since my curb check on the rear tire, the diff has been making a lot of noise. They replaced the axel and "inspected" the diff, comenced to putting dino oil in. Then had to open it back up to put in the synthetic. (yea right). All this was under insurance. Anyway, I took it back last week and told them it was still making noise. They replaced everything in the rear diff under GM warranty siting that TSB. Just an FYI.

Common problem on the other TBSS boards. TSB has been out a while.

Need to take mine in. It's making noise on tight turns.

I thought you weren't supposed to put synthetic in a diff with an Eaton Posi? I thought it was supposed to be 80/90 with additive.
