Default Trailblazer converter in Silverado SS

A few people have recommended to me to put a Trailblazer 4.2 liter converter in my Silverado SS as they will stall up a bit more for a better launch. Anybody know what the GM part number for one of these is? Anybody tried one in their SS?

OK well found the part number 24228708. Jeez lets see I have owned the truck 48 hours and Im already modifying it. Lasted longer than the Camaro that was 4 hours.

i dont know the part number but i have ran 2 different ones. i ran one over a year and half stalled in the 2500 range. then switched out for a newer one that now stalls around 3k, the last one was a temp while my vig was repaired but i have never got around to swap them back out.

I have mwalls in my SSS now and it is nice. my wife said she enjoyed the way the truck is more smooth during take off. I have heard that it is getting difficult to find them since so many of us are getting them. W/O tuning it is great ands when I finally get back to my tuner (8hour roundtrip) I know it will be awsome

24228708: 02-03 TB 4.2L
24228709: 04 TB 4.2L
12491321: 05 TB 4.2L

Also, a snip from Zippy on silveradoss.com forums... "any one of the numbers will work. there are minor differences in all 3, but not any differences that will be noticed by who ever uses it. i've tried all 3. the one for the 04' seemed to be the loosest and the 05' the tightest."

I used the 04 part number and got mine from gmpartsdirect for about $175 plus $100 core (refunded after I sent my old one back). Price has gone up a touch to $187 now though...
