Tell me about it!!!! Something was screwy once when I dynoed my old truck. With the basically stock 4.8, I got 430ish to the wheels one time. When it was reset correctly, I made 245rwhp.

nice prelimanary numbers. i love those tbss, i might just have to get one once the used price comes down a little.

the good old dynojet vs mustang debate... probably should start a new thread if we want to talk about that topic. i have been on both quite a few times now. i like the consistancy of the dyno jet and the high numbers are nice too. if i was to ever buy a dyno it woul be a dynojet with the load bearing option.

A Dynojet dyno is all for glory numbers, it does not load the vehicle at all and gives you numbers that mean basically nothing but bragging rights.
Typically a Dynojet will show numbers 10-15% higher than a Mustang dyno
The dyno I go to is a Dynojet and it does load the vehicle (rollers) to simulate the trucks weight. The newest Dynojets have this feature.

I love threadjacking!!
Only thing I dislike about the DynoJet brakes is they are drag brakes.. Eddy current is the only way to load a vehicle.. I'd like to see a DynoJet try to load up a diesel putting 1400 ft/lbs of torque down..

Yes it is. That's what the Dynojet uses. Eddy current.
