Default switching to the grocery getter side of trucks

well been talking to a guy down south that i am 99% sure i will be picking up his black 2wd 3ss TBSS sometime in the near future. im used to my 78mm TB DBC style intakes and easy quick bolt ons. i know ill end up having a garage full of stuff to start selling soon...

but anyways i know most of my truck stuff will not fit on the TBSS and i need to start looking into simple (till cam swap time) bolt on...

what CAI are most of you guys running? i had a Volant on my old truck and liked it alot, but didnt know if there was a well known CAI that has popped up on the market since ive been out of the scene for a while.

same with headers, i have a set of stainless LPP's in my garage but was informed that they wornt work on these... i know Kooks headers are somewhat top-of-the-line kind things, but are there other stainless LT's that show good gains? ive seen Stainless Works advertise and theres a handful of others out there, but i would like some real world experience from people instead of just "going with a sponser" (not that its such a bad thing if its quality)

U/D pullies? i had ASP on my 02, what about the trailblazers?

and definetly some e-fans. a good friend of mine (sprayd99) had some custom made efan shrouds made with dual Spall fans a couple years ago that worked out amazingly well... but that truck is long gone and wondered what most people are using these days.

and now just some general questions (holy crap i sound/feel like a n00b)

what rearend is in these? i know they come with the 4.10 but is it the same as the silverado? 8.5 10 bolt? etc etc... also i know silverado wheels wont fit on these (sadly) but what is the correct bolt pattern, im looking to go with some lighter wheels over stock

things to watch out for? i know the 4l70e is somewhat of a weak point on these after you start making some power... any upgrades? is there a 4l80e swap availabe?

and just any other info that some of you might feel like sharing... experiences, problems, things that just might pop up unexpectedly (so i can expect them lol)

anyways thanks for reading this whole rambling post... it feels good to finally (almost) be back into something quicker that a crappy NNBS truck and a 4 cylinder rental. cant wait to get back on the scene and make it back out to some track days

whew...
E-fans... don't really need SPAL's unless your hooked. LS1 fans do just as great.
Tune
Headers, Kooks,SW,American Racing those are your high end LT's
Volant is still a great intake

UDP... eh.. splitting hairs here.

The rear is nearly bullet-proof there are big power guys running stock rear ends. minus axle. 14 bolt 9.5"

You already hit the weak link. Trans. Grab a trans cooler and it'll add to longevity. If you going to throttle down... try and remember to drop it 3 and not leave in D. The sprags do not appreciate going from a free wheel to an instant 400+ ft lbs of tq being thrown at it.

also.. I PM'd you a link
