Default Help me pick out a TBSS

I'm looking at buying one around this time next year, maybe spring. I do not want an AWD as I see that as one more thing to mess up.

As far as colors, I want either black, red pearl, or either one of the blues.
Leather interior with navi would be nice, but I'm open to any interior.

What should I be looking for? Any years that are better than the rest? First mod would be e-fan as I can't stand a clutch fan.

Help me out guys

too soon, unfortunately. gotta get the crew cab paid off first & that ain't happenin' until Feb 2012. I got lucky & finally talked the old lady into getting one. She said she didn't care what we got as long as it was newer. she currently drives a 2000 grand caravan while my crew is locked in my shop 24/7. gotta train em right.

There all pretty much the same really..The 06 year had a different ecm, rear wiper and charging system than the other years..
08's went to a different type of clutch fan and is a tiny bit harder to tune for efan..
either 08 or 09 got the hook up for the ipod i think but thats all that really changed between the years...

When i get another on its going to be an 06 or 07..
As far as cooling pick up a Ron Davis radiator and ls1 fans..IMO the c6fan setup is a PITA to keep working right..

I was in the same boat and we went with a 2wd for the same reason. One less thing to mess up, easier to swap to a 4L80 if the tranny blows, plus better fuel mileage. Ours has cloth, which is fine. If we get the itch for leather later, we'll put a Katzkin kit in it. The navi doesn't seem to be that desirable, as you have to keep the navi disc in the headunit for it to work. If you pop a CD in, your navi is out.

My wife is the main driver of ours. We haven't had it long, but it's the silver one in town. It may be the only one in town. I haven't run into another one around here.

The navi isn't worth it to me. Our has it and my wife hates to use it. She always uses the garmin.
