Default Great, now my TBSS is a dead duck..

Anybody run into problems with the nuetral saftey switch?? Mine has been acting up lately and this morning I went to fire it up, and it was a no-go. Normally I could turn the key on, shift it to D once and back into park and it would go, but now its not working.
Then to add insult to injury, the shifter lock solenoid went out, so now it shifts without having to depress the brake, and I cant remove my key..
I hope the dealership will still warranty this thing..

They should though, since none of the mods I have done have any direct effect on what happened..

do you think the stall might affect that its kinda related to the transmission

or is this strictly an electrical issue

just make sure that you double check all the connections to the transmission, it's possible that a wire may have gotten pulled loose in the harness if it binded at all when pulling the tranny for the stall install.

Also - how's your battery charge? I know when my dad's TB had the battery die the key was stuck in the ignition, a quick boost and it worked again... just throwing ideas out

Sweet, dealer hook-ups are great..
Everything covered under warranty. The NSS did go out, and I guess when it does, it trips something in the ECM to cause the shift lock solenoid to disable for transportation (at least this is what the tech told me).
I even got my driver side rear door panel fixed for free (caused by my rage of slamming the door shut)
