list your current mods please.If your runnin juice through it now on the stock trans then i say get a built trans.A cam'd/juiced stock trans will not last but a few hours

thanks guys.

alot of you say trany. so i might just start with efans. and maybe used ls water pump so i can run a ls2 or ls6 intake. then get a tune

I wish i never opened this thread! But get a custom tune and then save for a built trans.

A forged LS3 does not an Ls9 make (from your sig).

People suggest tranny, so you're thinking e-fans? Umm.

I would suggest you tell everyone EXACTLY what you have, and you might get some reasonable help.

hey 00ChevyScott, pretty sure trailblazzer ss has truck intake. cause it has a water pump fan. and a ls2 intake would not work with a water pump fan.


and gdev, i said what it has. spray, nitrous, and exhaust(which is magnaflow muffler with shop done tubing)

and how does a forged LS3 not = a LS9.

a ls9 is forged 6.2L with force induction.

well i have a 6.2L blcok with forged internals and forced induction.

i know LS motors. just dont know **** about them in a trailblazzer. i have always been a vete and f-body guy. so got a new toy. and the "ls2" in the ss isnt like a vete ls2 cuase intake is different.

and the reason i said start with efans is the trany is my 4th one though gm. and it is still covered under warrenty. so i will wait till it dies again.

no its a 90mm truck manifold and can prove that if need be

so your on your 4th tranny huh,well you gotta PAY TO PLAY buddy!!! Stop screwin gm for your mess ups .I dont really know how you can call yourself an ls guy and not know what to do to this motor.All Ls motors take the same mods and get the same results .You said nothing about a tune,so your telling me your spraying this thing on the stock tune and wonder why the tranny blows .If your looking for 1/4 times then put a built trans and a converter in it......Come on man get with the program..

damn im lost.....so you want a "Dyno Queen" (high horsepower but cant do anything with it) or a street and strip set up? (good balance of everything and alot more fun)
