Default Torsin key ?

My cosuing had his plow fram put onto his truck today (05 duramax 4x4) and they cranked the torsin keys, now the truck rides like ****. So to uncrank them do you need to take the weght off the front tires or can you just un crank them?

no just unkrank em and tell him to drive on a bumpy road after, itll straighten itself back out

if hes lookin to get more lift outta the front tell him to get the "green keys" for his truck, it should lift it but youll still have to crank the torsion bars up so itll probably still ride like **** i dunno for sure though on hds, i have a half ton and did the lift keys and mine rides fine

Default readylift

Call your local oreilly's and tell them you need re-indexed torsion keys with the shock spaced from readylift Factory ride quality and your shocks wont bottom out!

I know this sounds crazy, for a 2500, the 1/2 ton torsion bar keys will raise it up and give you what you want, for a 1500 the torsion keys from a F-150 will do the same thing. I think i saw on the gm classifieds where a guy had some for sale. I have the ford keys on my 1500 so i know the setup works.

yes it will work but, your shocks bottom out! Its only like $200 for the readylift kit, some things are worth the extra fifty bucks

If I just crank on them a little, will it still bottom out? This is my first Z, so I don't want to ruin the ride. A little firmer in the front would be nice though.
