Default tire fitment questions

i know this is a popular question but i'm having trouble finding a solid answer and i see where people are able to fit 33x12.50 tires on a leveled 99+ z71 but where my problem comes in is the wheels.

i have aquired a set of MT classic locks 18x10 that i believe are 4.5 BS.

i can't decide if i need to go with 285/65's, or if i can get away with 33x12.50's i'd rather do that. i figure ill have to trim either way but i wasn't sure how much 1" in width would make a difference, i just like that stance of a wider tire.

Im just looking for a quick second opinion and possibly pictures before i go and spend $1300 on some meats and they not fit!

the truck is an 03 chevy ecsb z71 and going with ford keys when the tires go on.
Thanks!!

I'm running 305/50/20s (32.5" tall) with my keys are cranked about 2". My tires rub if I hit a bump with the wheels cut (shouldn't be a problem if you don't go off road) and it always rubs in reverse with the wheels cut about 85%.

I bet you could fit the 33x12.50's with the right backspacing and cranking the keys >2"... but your truck will ride pretty rough
