Default Superlift Or ProComp

Help me decide between the Superlift F.I.T. 6 inch system with the SSR's or the ProComp Drop bracket 6 inch system with the MX6's. It will be going on my 2001 ECSB Z71. I would like to run some 18X9's with the new ProComp Xtreem Allterrains in a 35X13.50 R18.

There are things I like about each of these systems and there are things I don't like about each system. This is my first time messing with a 4 wheel drive, so I'm asking if you guys could chime in and help me choose one over the other.

I've read through the Suspension Supertest in the stickey in this section, and have based my decision on the article as I have no knowledge in the lift systems.

I like the look of the knuckle lifts over the drop bracket lifts, but I don't like how most of the knuckle lifts increase the front track width.

The Superlift F.I.T. kit placed in the top three in pretty much every event, got some good reviews, and the cost isn't too bad. But it increases the front track width to 70. Anyone know off hand what the rear track width is on the disk rear trucks?

The ProComp Drop bracket kit didn't do as well in the didferent events, but had some supporters at the end of the event. ProComp lift systems seem to be pretty popular with the 99-06 IFS trucks.

Let me know what to look for, stay away from, and what you guys have learned with the setups you have had? Just so you know I'm looking to spend about $5500 for the lift, install, and wheels and tires. I'm looking to be able to use the truck as a truck (bed cargo and trailering), and I want a great ride on and off road.

Thanks....

two of my buddies have practically the same truck as me except for gears, mines Fabtec, freaking love it! Aaron has a trailmaster and Rob had a superlift with the dual front shocks. Aaron also has a 3 inch body but its around the same ride between his and mine, mines a little softer but that might be the mx6 shocks in the rear. Robs truck isnt a bad ride but I would definately not get the dual shocks unless you want a rougher ride than other kits available.

figure out if you want your front track width to change that much or not and then try to decide between the lift kits available for you. All of these lift kits are similar and have been put to test by tons of people. Pretty much any name brand kit you get you will be happy with so just decide if you want the knuckles or not and find a good deal.

I like the Superlift F.I.T. kit myself, but looks like I have some research to do. What type of shock does your buddy with the Superlift run? Anyway you could get some pictures of his truck?
