Default regearing Escalade AWD

I am looking into regearing my 2004 Escalade AWD. I have the factory 3.73 gear set and I would like to go with 4.10s. I am trying to gain back some of my lost low end power and off the line acceleration after installing my lift and 33x12.50x20s. I still need the truck to be highway friendly so I don't want to go with too low of a ratio. Will the gear sets for your standard IFS Silverado/Sierras work with my factory AWD set up?

I ran my Avalanche for years on 33/12.50 and 4.10s. I regeared it from 3.73 to 4.10 for the same reason. I did the AWD just last year. And ran the same tires for another 6 months or so that way; it drove great. I really love it more now that it's lowered AWD with 4.10s but it'll definitely make things better. I will say if you're going to stay that big, I felt at times I should've gone to 4.56 for the 33s.

And yes the ring and pinion sets are the same. It's the same center differencial just a different shaft design. The other way is how I did mine, found a good deal on a front diff from a Silverado SS, it bolts right up, AWD, 4.10.

What kind of RPMs were you turning on the highway with 4.10s and 33s? I have a true dual set up and plan to add headers pretty soon. I just want to keep it out of the drone RPMs, the MTs are loud enough as it is.

I don't remember exactly what rpms but that chart will help. Only a good exhaust is gonna cure the drone. I knew better. Corsa is the most expensive but thats one of the reasons.

Well luckily I don't have any drone issues now running a true dual with 24" magnaflow. I am going to be putting a set of long tubes on it in a couple months so we'll see what I'm dealing with then.

I had 4.56s and 33s on a 4l60e and I felt it was the perfect setup. I personally could not justify the cost just to go from 3.73 to a 4.10. I think my RPMs with the 4.56s and 33s was around 2300 RPMs at 70.

LOL. Think I'm around there on these tires with the 4.10s. On a side note, how'd you like the TT3000? I have one in the box sitting in the garage. Soon as this deployments over, I'll put it in.

I'm not sure I'd go with 4.56s. Half the year I run 33s and the other half is spent on 31s. I just wish 4.30s weren't so expensive or I'd go with those.
