Default NNBS Leveling kit choices??

Hey guys, a few months ago we had a new addition to the family; a 2011 silverado 1500 ccbs z71. It's been an amazing truck so far, but stock just isn't cutting it anymore and I have begun my search for a leveling kit/smaller lift kit for it. I am looking to fit 33's (305/55/20 maybe), want a high quality kit, but don't want to break the bank doing it either. This truck is a dd but it sees offroad quite a bit and was thinking about upgrading shocks while I was at it.

I spoke with Kris from Top Gun Customz and he recommended a 2" Bilstein kit that came with 5100 shocks. He said that the front shocks have a spring seat setting that can be adjusted, which sounds good, but has anyone heard of this kit? On my 96 I have 4600's and love them, so I thought this might be a good place to start.

I have been looking at a few other companies such as procomp, rough country, and ready lift, but also wanted to know your guys' thoughts on all of them before I make a purchase. My friends have all recommended cognito, but it seems comparable in price to some lift kits that are out there. I am also open to a 3-4" lift kit, I just want to stay away from getting too big. Any suggestions?

I just saw an ad from ReadyLift for their 4"/3" NNBS kits. Full bolt in, no cutting or welding. I think it was about $1400.

On the newer trucks just go with who you want really..Almost all the suspension companys sell spacers for them

The Ready lift is junk. It pushes everything without moving anything. There are guys buying the a 4in Rancho in the 1400 range and its closer to a 5 in kit. For 995, you can go with a RCX 5 and do alot better than the RL.

Back to the original question, most common are the 2 in kits like RC and pretty hard to beat for around $70 just dont forget the alignment afterward.

Thanks guys. I don't need anything too big. I'll be able to order something in the next couple weeks so if you have any more suggestions before then I'm all ears.

I would do a 2" myself but thats just me I'm a cheap ba$tard! I've put a couple of the spacer types on on the NNBS and everyone has been satisified with them. Just my 2 cents

I got the Top Gun 2.5 kit, nice, its top and bottom spacers = no cutting studs. If you want bigger go a full lift.

The bilstiens is a nice option if you want spend more $$$ and if you want to go bigger later they are a nice compliment to some of the lifts
