Default modifieying front hitch extension

looks like I'll need to add another hole in reciever extension I actuely messed up the first hole but at the time of drilling I wasn't intending on using the 4" drop my 9" adjustable isn't as long an would work now I can't find where I stored it or some scumbag ran off w/ it.
note the long hitch pin at hummer is vertical.

egay front reciever extention

where I should have added hole further up

is it acceptable to reduce lenght of hitch? I'm thinking no bc it's made that lenght for a reason, plus the extra hole will be easier.

front hitch 2 inch elevated

I'm hoping it mite be easier to manuver the vessel into the corner of backyard w/ a front hitch.

I'm thinking due to the Hummers short incline angle (real short entry an exit) will be about 20"s closer to water when launching the vessel but will be much higher to avoid salty water?
additionaly I think big kid was correct on my other thread about the spare tire being in the way.heck the spare tire carrier is very close to the trailers spare.

hope this helps someone else w/ a front hitch.

I don't think it will hurt if you rotate it 90 degrees and put new holes. If your only using it for launching I don't see it being that big of a deal.
