Cuz you are suppose to lift trucks(or keep stock height), and use them as TRUCKS, NUFF SAID.

I like my lifted 2wd. Makes people think I'm well endowed. In the meantime, Ellington is right by my house.

 

tell me a lifted truck is still a usable truck when you have to have an extension ladder to put stuff in the bed

 

i pull a trailer 5 days a week during the summmer. my bed is probably more used than most "usable" trucks. nuff said

 

Why do people lift 2WDs? Do yourself a favor and google "prerunner" anyone who races in the dunes/desert out west has seen them, its way easier to get tons of suspension travel on a 2WD, no CVs to bind, lighter front end for jumps, etc. And why lower a 4x4? Plenty of guys up north like lowered trucks, but still have to be able to drive between November and April
