Would a 6" lift work for a 375/60/18 tire (36") or will I need a 3" body lift too? The tire requires a 11" rim if it matters.

 

You will need the 6" suspension lift to fit those tires.

Yeah you will need the 6" suspension and the 3' body. I know because i had 36" super swampers on my truck. By the way i will be selling a 6" skyjacker with 6" lift rear springs. Pm me if your interested.

You can run 35x12.50's easily with a 3" body lift. That is if you have a dodge or Ford 4x4. But if you have a GM you might need a little more. Suspension companies liek Fabtech recommend a 6" lift for a 35" tire.

 

yea thats cause fords have there fender in the shape of a almost perfect circle, the chevys are like flat on top and flatten on the sides. my buddy had an f150 w/3" body and he had 33s and i couldnt see him fittin anything bigger than that. you can fit a 35 wit 6" suspension if you trim that little lower bumper ext which i dont even think you HAVE to do... hes not lookin for 35s though hes lookin to run 36s that are gonna be about 14" wide lol

Its a freakin inch, you will need a 6" suspension lift. If he's got a 2WD first he has no business trying to run those tires, and secondly he's gonna need 7.5" of lift. Fabtech's the way to go.
