or bros thats been there done that. 07 + 1/2 ton 2" leveling going rough country more than likely.

what i think i want on my OEM 18s is 285/65s maybe 275/70s

my problem is I want 6ply maybe 8plys what tires do I want ,need ? bfg or toyo nitto mid grip is what i want. i have a issue putting on 10 plys. on a 1/2ton

what issue do you have putting 10 plys on a 1/2 ton?

I was running 285/75/16 BFG AT's on my 03 1500 with 28psi. Great ride and long lasting tire. They were 10 ply but with the rite tire pressure, almost any tire can ride good.

Im running 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's on my 98 yukon. Rides fine, but im not sure how many plys they got....

trail graps are 10 ply... they don't ride hard tho, they are very street friendly

any of you guys remember 6ply and 8plys? maybe you are all to young.maybe im out of touch that tires have changed how they are marketed.

Yep, I sure do. I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/65/18 in 10 ply. Stay far away. Rides like a hay wagon now. Looking around just like you for 6 plys but no luck.
