When I go I have a claddering or hub cap full of rock sound, or a can in a bike spoke, coming from my truck i don't know what the hell it is. I think it may be the drive shaft but not sure. hard to describe all I know is from inside the truck it sounds like its coming from the back. would a slip yoke do this. when I punch the gas the sound only gets louder till it stops.. hopefully you guys can lead me in the right direction.

 

Check the rear diff. The Gernade (G80) rear diff likes to go BOOM!!!!

Also, make sure someone isn't gagin you and put zip tys on the driveshaft. That will get em every time.

 

No zip tys my truck stays at the apartment an i don't know anyone here to play pranks somethings about to go out or break, .

 

exactly chek the rear diff, and if your driveshaft has a bent in it then change that too cuz it will affect your transfercase soon

 

Just replaced both u joints and so far i think it maybe fixed to soon to say though.
