well today we started puttin my buddies 8" on his K5. we are swappin the stock 1/2 tonners for a 14 bolt and a dana 44. he got his superlift (rear springs), shocks, pitman arm, 1/2ton to 1 ton ujoint and driveshaft done for $800 which i though was pretty damn cheap. got a couple pics but ill wait to post everything up all at once being as we got side tracked and only did the rear, which i must say looks pretty damn funny

the best part of this deal though is im gettin his 4" for one of my trucks and the wheels and the 33s that used to be on it for about $200 and the twisted bumper in my garage cause i put my roll pan on... i love being a cheap ***

 

i hope your puttin the 4" and 33s on the silverado

are you sure the wheels from his truck will work on yours arent his 5lug and yours 6lug

 

Im pretty sure the 4 wheel drive uses the 6 lugs and the 2wd drive uses 5

 

up until the 99 model year then all fullsize trucks are 6lug and 2500-3500 are 8lug no more 5lug after new body style

the 88-98 is 5lug-2wd 6-lug-4wd 8lug-HD

a POS rotted out K5 that will never see the road and im selling to get it outta my yard
a 2wd 85 rclb with a good cab, bed, and front clip
a 4wd rclb 73-80 which has 3/4 ton 6 lug wheels chassis and driveline that im putting the lift and wheels im getting from my buddy... and the cab, front clip and bed off the 2wd on
my blue truck
my gray truck...

ive had this 4wd chassis layin around forever and i figure, well hey my buddies puttin his 8" on, might as well ask him how much he wants for the 4", he said help me out and ill give ya it all... so wtf couldnt pass that up, then i noticed how almost brand new his wheels and tires are and was like ahh what the hell might as well ask him how much he wants for em and he said give me the bumper off your truck and you can have em for $200, i mean there pretty decent wheels and the tires probably have like 3000 miles on em and their 32s so this should motivate me a lil to do some body swappin
