Default 4 inch lift for a 2007 duramax??

A friend of mine is wanting to put a 4 inch lift on his 07 duramax any recomendations?

well, if he only wants to get a 4'' lift, nothing wrong with procomp, superlift,or skyjacker. But keep in mind, their 6'' kits are or are close to the same price.

Go with a knuckle kit too. Cheaper and regardless of what some people say, the knuckle kits are stronger and maintain factory steering location and angles.

anyone have anything to say about the newer kits that drop the torsion bars? likes, dislikes?

Pretty sure every kit drops the T-Bars. I think the only one that doesn't is the rough country I think. Something about not dropping them seems like alot of strain to me.

I never had a problem nor have any of my buddies.

i would just go the 6in for the extra $200 or so. Besides your not lacking any power so bigger tires wont effect it much.
