Default 4.30s vs 4.56s

Alright i thought i was decided on 4.56s, but as i got to thinking about it, would 4.30s be better for me? I have 3.73s on 295/70r18s and it frkkn sucks . I work in br so in the morning there is alot of stop and go traffic in mornings on airline. I aslo go to night school 2-3 days a week on airline at ITI college and don't get out usually till around 9:30 p.m, so there is no traffic. My round trip is 30 miles from the house to work, school is in between. So my question is, is 4.30s better for my needs i do plan on going up to a true 35x12.50 or stay with my 295 trail grapplers. IDk just all depends. So what do you guys think 4.30s or 4.56s?

Working with a 5.3 nnbs 4x4 great truck just want some of that power it use to have back. Do yall think it will make my mpgs worse with 4.56s? currently get 11.8 mpg some say it will some say it wont. I really dont wanna go below 11 mpg.

Honestly there probably isn't THAT much of a difference. But if you're going up to 35's then go with 4.56's just in case

it will prolly help it out.. it wont be bogged down all the time..
you got a 34" now with 3.73s.. goin to 4.56s

34 / 3.73 is about 1800@70
35 / 4.56 is about 2150@70

Thats gonna make a nice diff in power while cruising.

you could do 4.56 or 4.88 and prolly still be good as long as your staying with the tall 35" tires.
even with 4.88s your only lookin at ~2300rpms at 70mph

think about the guys that run the short 30" tires and 4.10s they run about 2300 and still get decent mileage.

i was only saying that the difference between 4.30's and the 4.56's isn't all that big. Definetly will be way better over stock no matter what though

I thought with the 4.56s it would be turning a lot higher rpms. But if it's only turning 2150. That's not bad at all! I was thinking 4.88s at once but when my tranny kills I'm going to step up I a 6l80e.
