Default 33" spare tire in stock location?

Any of you guys running a full size 33" spare tire in the stock location under the rear of the truck? Especially SUV/Avalanche guys with a panhard bar?

I originally had a 16" spare which I can no longer use on the front since upgrading to the 05+ front brakes. I found a stock GM 20x8.5 to put a full size 275/60/20 on for a spare. I took some measurements prior to doing it and knew it would be tight but seemed it would fit. I had one fairly new tire that had to be plugged a few weeks ago so I bought a new one and put the plugged tire on the spare and put it in place yesterday. It took some persuasion but went in. However, it is wedged between my hitch and my aftermarket tubular panhard bar. I know the panhard moves up and down some with the suspension. I am not as concerned about the bar rubbing on tire for damage as much as I am the integrity of the cable mount holding the spare in place. Anyone see a major issue with the cable winch breaking due to this?

Hey Kenny, is there any way that you can loosin the trailer hitch and slide it out a little bit. That might give you just enough clearance.

I was thinking of doing that. The hitch also has about 1/4" of square tube past the welds that I can grind down too.

I took the hitch off this afternoon and that allowed spare to move rearward a good bit. Without the hitch there is a little over an inch of clearance between the tire and panhard. I ground the excess square tube off the rear of the hitch but haven't re-installed yet to see if it was enough to keep some clearance from the panhard.
