Default 3" or 4" lift kit

Who makes a good lift that still can be put back to stock some what easy. I know most that I have saw you either have to cut or weld on some and new wheels seem to be a must with any of them. I dont want anything bigger then 4" and will more then likely still be running 285's. And is there anyone on here that is running a 4" kit?

if you want something that can easily go back to stock id go with a Rancho 4" suspension lift. they make an excellent lift and dont require and cutting, grinding or welding so you can take it back off if you ever want to. the 4" kit costs about as much as all the other brands 6'' kits but its well worth the money. you should be able to fit at least a 305/70, possibly even a 315/75 if you want to step it up in tire size. look into that kit, i think youll like it!

Rough Country has a new 4" kit out i saw the other day. I had been thinking about their 6" kit as it gets good feedback, but a 4" would be nice!

Skyjacker has a 3" & a 6" that can be returned to stock.
I run the 3" on my Avalanche,been 3 years,no issues.

BDS has a nice 4.5" & 6.5" lift HC design. But cutting is required.

I would just change the keys and crank them a little you can do 305's all day with just that no trimming. Plus its 1000 bucks cheaper doing that also. But if you were gonna do a lift you should just spend the money and do a 6" kit its only like a $200 difference, from what I have priced out. IMO.

yea but price 285 and then price 35's thats were the main thing is for me. I can get 285 mud grips all day for 145 with a 40k warranty. Keys are cranked already with the 285 and I want just a little more. To heck with a 6" and 35 way to much for me.

305/70 is about a 33 and 315/75 is about a 35. Do a body lift, that's what I did and I do not have a problem at all. Also check out http://www.treadepot.com they are a site sponcer. Great prices from what I have seen!

Sorry RJ, I would have to stay to stick with the suspension route if your lifting your truck, body lifts are a huge liability if your in an accident, also IMO the truck doesnt look as good since the hitch never matches up right and your exhaust usually, but thats just me
