Default What is the best tool for cutting braided stainless hose???

I am just wondering what you guys use to cut braided stainless hose? When i did my tranny lines i used black electrical tape and a cut-off wheel. It worked ok. I was wondering if i used a big bolt cutter with the electrical tape would work decently.

Chop saw. Basically anything with high blade speed. If it frays the braid or crushes the line, it's going to be a pain in the *** to slide into the fittings. And you will need electrical tape to help prevent fraying. Also, the Russell brand AN fittings are a bit easier to work with than the Earl's for getting the line into the fitting.

I used the sharpened chisel method. It worked great with no frays.
