Everything I own is Miller Blue. I love everything BUT my Spectrum 2050. Too many issues. Board, consumables are expensive, ICE 55 torch is a PITA, Etc. And just a week ago, all my lights, (power, ready) are all lit, and all I get is air. No arc. Anyone want a blue anchor?

My repair shop has been trying to talk me into a Hypertherm or Thermal Dynamics. I think I am just going to change.

i have a hypertherm powermax 45 (220v)... i think i paid around 1600-1800 or something for it

mine is rated at 3/4'' or 7/8''.. the thickest ive cut with it yet is 1/2''

IMO hypertherm is one of the best plasma cutter you can buy. most every CNC plasma manufacturer bases their systems with a hypertherm

Well it's official. I bought a Hypertherm Powermax 65. So anybody here that's wants to gamble on a Miller Spectrum 2050, PM me. My repair shop said it could be as simple as a microswitch in the torch down to a bad board. I don't care anymore. Someone else can deal with it. If no interest, I'll send it to auction.

Well after a year of the far to light duty plasma cutter sitting around I was able to get the big boy!
PLASMA50, Plasma Cutter, Heavy Duty

I paid $1800 for the old one and he gave me $1500 trade in. So not bad it only cost e $300 for owning it just under a year and cutting a few things. I can't wait for the new one because the old one would hardly cut 10 gage. I bought it thinking it would fairly easily cut 1/4" because it was supposed to cut up to 3/8th. Trying to cut 1/4 I might as well used a hack saw. It would have cut faster!

I should have it at the shop tomorrow or monday.
