What a day...
Well I was working with a co-worker of mine finishing up the day... last room to collect and all. Then out of no where two Hispanic males about my age maybe a little older come and stick a gun to my face telling me (in Spanish) to get on the ground. I don't speak Spanish but luckily my co-worker did and told me what to do. They took my phone, blue tooth, work phone, and security keys to open up the washers... they didn't take my wallet though . The whole time the guy had a gun pointed to my head apparently.
By then i knew when they didn't take my wallet they were after the coins in the my co-workers work truck. So after a while of the crooks and my co-worker talking in Spanish one dude left to get the truck started while the other one watched. The guy watching us got a call and told us (in Spanish) to stay there for 30 minutes then we can leave. After i would say about 10-15 mins me and my co-worker go out to try and find some help. We find it... call the cops and do whole whole shindig that you would usually do in this situation.
Since the truck has GPS tracking on it they find the truck quickly but the 2 robbers put someone else in the truck as a decoy while they drove off... the sad part is they didn't even take any of the quarters in the truck (A lot i might add). The guy they caught is cooperating with the police since he is an illegal from Honduras and is facing 3 felony charges of theft. Last time i heard today they were going to the house of the guys that robbed us.
This was all in an apartment complex in Southwest part of Houston (don't want to disclose name). Luckily no one was hurt and im just fine...
Im kinda lucky to be alive right now... having a gun to your head and having your life on the line by some crazy ***, money hungry, mother ****** is not my version of having a good day.
Btw my phone number is terminated and hopefully ill have a new phone in the next couple of days since my company is going to reimburse my 100 dollar blue tooth and 300 dollar phone. So If you need to call me call my fiance.
What a day.... oh and I will be looking for a new job... my life isn't worth a couple thousand dollars of quarters.
