I would recommend not posting how to break into our trucks online. I like mine and would rather not spread ways to break into or steal it.

Getting in our trucks is easy, defeating the VATS and steering column is a bit more entailed. Its got to be fairly simple for as many that are stolen every day.

Like a post on a random truck forum is going to teach a thief. Apparently plenty already know, GM trucks are one of the top stolen vehicles in Texas. If you really want to stop a thief from stealing your ride you need to wire up a kill switch to the fuel pump. Thats the ONLY way youre going to keep someone from driving off with your truck. Even then they can still tow it, tons of vehicles are getting snatched with tow trucks now.

Wiring in a FP switch is on my to do list. Need to figure out where to splice in and where to hide the switch.

The wiring harness for the fuel pump runs right along the driverside frame rail. Just wire in a relay and put the switch wherever you want. Id mount it in the armrest under the fabric so itll never be found but still easy to access. DPS also uses a kill switch that has an air bladder that goes under the carpet that you stomp on in order for the vehicle to start. Not sure if they sell to the public though or if you could get it through their supplier.

Truck was found.
Pics will be up on wednesday

Truck was involved in a high speed chase,
multiple illegals were being transported.
Crashed in threw a bob-wire fence.
Most of the interior is all jacked up and missing.
Engine is knocking . . .
Steering column is all smashed up
front clip is . . . jacked up

Man I wish we would get back on building a legit fence instead of the bs we have now. Seems like the majority of you boys get your trucks back after they have been used for smuggling illegals for a few days. My bosses hunting guide in Mexico is also a part time coyote. Freakin rediculous the stuff they will do sometimes I feel worse for the way the people trying to come over get treated. This crap has gotta stop.

Again to the OP I am sorry this crap happens. Best of luck. Had my tail gate and hitch stolen last week can't even imagine losing my whole truck.
