Wow my company is building out a LoJack style unit that links your vehicle with your smart phone and home security system. They can't get it done quick enough.

 

if a home security company came knocking at my door and offered a bundled package for home and all vehicles, i would probably have to consider it. at this point, i've got a big angry looking dog that decides who is allowed into the house when we arent home.

 

How do they get these trucks started? Ive never tried to steal a GM truck before but it seems they must be pretty easy to run off with for how many get stolen. First youve got to somehow get the gear selector into drive and then get it to crank, I just dont understand.

 

We are working on it, but it's a tough thing to do. The backend system is the tough part to build out. We almost released it last year and couldn't get the backend stable enough. We were going to partner with viper alarms, but it fell thru. Supposedly we are getting closer to it happening again this year.
