Default shots fired in Lone Star College In North Harris Campus

so i got an e-mail from my wife asking how much trouble she would get in for taking her gun into her college class today...she attends north harris and is in their nursing program. she has her CHL, but BULLSHIT laws prohibit her from taking it on campus. here is the news.

Update: 1:08p.m. Additional shots were fired in the campus cafeteria according to KHOU. Still an active shooter scene.
12:00 p.m. AP reports that emergency personnel have responded to reports of several people being wounded at a Houston-area college campus.
A spokesman for the college system, Jed Young, says a shelter-in-place order was issued amid reports of a shooter on campus.
Shots were fired around 11:30 a.m. at Lone Star Community in North Harris County, according to Precinct 4 deputy constables.
KHOU is reporting confirmation of one person is in custody. Dozens of law enforcement officers are searching for a second suspect on the loose.
Other crews were entering the library with stretchers, as students filed out.
The only thing campus officials could confirm is that the school is on lockdown.
Several Aldine ISD schools are also on lockdown while the search for the suspect continues. They are Nimitz High School, Nimitz 9th Grade Campus, Parker Intermediate and Dunn Clifford Elementary.
We'll have more details as they become available.

what the "never wrong" google says

How much trouble would I be in if I took my gun to school?
How can a license holder carry at a school?
A license holder is prohibited from having a handgun on the premises (inside the building) of a school as defined by the state law. UNLESS they receive Express Written Consent as defined by Texas Penal Code 46.03(a)(1)

Sec. 46.03. PLACES WEAPONS PROHIBITED.
(a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly possesses or goes with a firearm, illegal knife, club, or prohibited weapon listed in Section 46.05(a):
(1) on the physical premises of a school or educational institution, any grounds or building on which an activity sponsored by a school or educational institution is being conducted, or a passenger transportation vehicle of a school or educational institution, whether the school or educational institution is public or private, unless pursuant to written regulations or written authorization of the institution;

If they would allow carry there, it would be one less injured person and 1 more dead FELON.. Hope no one was seriously injured or killed.. Another fine example of what harder gun laws do among the Criminals. NOTHING

Yeah Richard it was definitely an assult rifle , probably had a 30 rd clip too , I think , uh , yeah it def was .

More wonderful news . I'm sure the govt is behind it.

Have your wife break the law Stew , take her gun with her . Her safety is more important than ANY law.

well i figured out that she currently isnt attending North Harris. she was there for a few semesters getting credits and now is at kingwood College for their nursing program. she was bouncing between kingwood and north harris a lot for a while and i lost track. sounds like this shooting was gang related.
