Default HRP 2/5 - Who went?

There wasn't many people out there, but some nice trucks and vettes showed up as usual. I couldn't get my truck to hookup for **** so I didn't even get close to a 13. My buddy Zach hit a 13.95 finally when he stalled his truck up some more off the line.

My mods: 5.3, TR224, LT's, Cutout, 4.10's w/TrueTrac, Fully Built 65E, Tune of course, and a few small things. My best time was my first run, 2.199 60' 14.2 1/4 at 97mph. I just rolled on it in first gear which kills my ET, but I couldn't get it to hook at all off the line. I have brand new Grabber UHP's which hook really well on the street, but at the track it was terrible. I know if I get some slicks I should be quicker, but I was just wondering if anyone else had issues at the track getting traction.

Zach's mods: LQ4, MS3 Cam, 4L80E, Circle D 3500, 3.73's w/TrueTrac, SS 20's with new Grabber UHP's. 13.95 at 101 (not sure on trap speed) was his best time.

crap, forgot to add that I have a Yank TRT3000. It only stalls to 2800 since it's a 5.3
What's weird is on the street I can be side by side with Nick (M3SRT) because I get a small jump off the line with my converter, but he ran a 13.5 since he doesn't spin off the line. Looks like I'll need to buy slicks soon :/

I seen your truck at the track looking back to friday night, I was there running the goat, best time was 12.57 with a 1.80 60' best.

The track sounded sticky as I rolled up to the lights lol

Yeah I think I saw your goat there. I was the lucky guy who got stuck at the starting line when that idiot ran his vette into the gravel lol. Were you running slicks? It seemed that most everyone with slicks hooked alright, but I couldn't hook for **** with my street tires. On my third run I tried going full throttle sooner but just spun halfway down the track

Ahhh so you're the guy with the badass blazer lol. I didn't get to see you run this time, but I've seen it in the past. Have y'all figured anything out with the Camaro? Saw that you hadn't posted anything on the HPTuners forum in a few weeks

It burnt up the 3-4 clutches. I have it apart and ordered some more clutches. upon re-assembly I notice a forward piston crack and had to order another one. Also changing a couple things up internal as well as adding the vacuum modulator.

You didn't miss much, first time out in a while so I was fighting issues
