I'd buy a good sized tranny cooler too.
I also think if chase can fit it into his schedule at work, that it would be a good deal. Very worth it.
He has done quite a bit of work to my truck and everything has turned out AWESOME.

If you can't find anyone to help you it's really simple. I recommend getting the truck kinda high on all 4 wheels so you can sit down under the truck. I'm in a wheelchair and I sat on the ground working on mine by myself and was getting **** done quick. Just kept running into problems.
Everything is pretty straight forward. After you get the old converter out I recommend holding the new converter up to the flexplate to make sure the center fits in the hole fine. Mine converter required just a touch of shaving to fit in the hole without rubbing, just really minor. Without shaving it I couldn't turn it by hand once the bell housing was all the way in. I wasn't comfortable with that.
2nd. Make sure you have the right bolts for the converter.
3rd. Make sure the bolts fit in the flexplate. One hole may be Oval and require drilling.
I didn't know this when I installed mine. Ended up installing several times cuz I learned each problem 1 at a time. lol.
When I get a better converter I'll be able to get it swapped out in a flash tho.

IMO you will wish you went bigger than the 2800... Especailly if you will be adding a healthy cam down the road. IMO i would look at CircleD converters... They are a sponser on tech and we get free shipping.. I would get a 9.5" 3200 if I were you... But that is just my opinion...
