Im taking the head to Chris @ Frankinstien racing heads today to check the head out and if its still usable im just gonna change gaskets and be on my way. so yall think i should change both head gaskets?

if that gaskets the wrong size yes. If it blew out because of the casting, new heads. IMO

I dont think the casting had anything to do wit it imo but i do know i had a nitrous backfire BC my dumnass got a little jittery and forgot to purge..

ok i went last night and hung out with chris (the guy doing my heads) and he said they are the older style like mangled said but where thinking someone had tried to fill in those gaps before. but im going to take the other head off as well and he is going to check both of them out for me and if needed do another valve job, he said he can do up to a 7 angle job but gonna see what he has to work with first, and mill them a bit more.

but im still needing some new head gskets, he recomends felpro mls or cometic mls gaskets, he said he dont know how gm style mls holds up to nitrous so idk still lol..

cometic, thats what I am going to use when i do my head swap. you may look into a custom grind cam while its down, and do it right. get all the power you can out of your setup.

See he was saying that i can go with a bigger cam but im barely getting by financially as it is loll.. he has one thats like a 233/238 585/589 springs and all that he will sell cheap but idk..

I agree wit all different angles but at the same time it's been running good as it is so im leaning a little more towards putting heads back on as well... We shall see i guess
