havent done the install yet. Having the trans and new 5.3 freighted to me from Triple Edge up in IN. Then I will likely install it all in my garage at some point. Hopefully in the next couple months.

Well... the LKQ just looked a little too messy when we went to freshen it up. So it is now torn down completely. Not going crazy on build, just wanted to make sure it was sound before wasting time on a tired engine. Picked up some 243's while we were at it. Always delays....

Finally got my 10%OD pulley in. Tried to order the powerbond, which I found out 2 weeks later was on backorder. Upgraded to the IW and sent crank back to machine shop to be properly keyed. Hoping the engine is together this month... Too many projects right now.

Ordered headers, exhaust, and new TB for blower. Only thing left to buy is driveshaft now, and have to wait to measure that. Hoping engine gets put together this weekend. Seems like the never ending project.

Well, progress has finally been made. Engine and trans are both ready to freight to me. Ended up doing a few other items that I wasnt planning on. Basically the LKQ engine was no bueno other than the hard parts.

After the new year, I am going to set it up and get ready for an install party... Just waiting for my custom MPS hub to be finished and installed, so that I can use ZZP pullies.

Nice. I know what you mean about it being a never ending project! I have a 2016 that I tore into to change the cam, converter and put the Procharger D1X on , simple right? Never is. Engine is about to come out so I can finish the cam and install the converter. I moved to TX about a year and a half ago and it sucks not having friends to help out. I was not planning on removing the engine but one dam oil pump bolt changes that. And, I cant get a engine hoist in the back of my mini cooper so that presents another problem. I could go on and on but I feel you pain man.
