Default 4L80e and head stud install shops? Austin area

Debating farming out my 4L80e install and head stud install. Working nearly 80hr a week does not leave me much time to work on the toys these days.

Any recommendations on shop options? Truck is an 03 Sierra with 4.8. I already have all of the parts/gaskets/crossmember required. Waiting on the trans to show up in the next couple of weeks, then going to decide on a gameplan. I will just have my cam/valvetrain installed at the same time as well.

Thought also crossed my mind to just throw the turbo kit on the truck and drive it around for a couple months to dial in the tune and get some seat time on the road. Owned the truck 1.5yr and havent even driven it yet...

I grew up in Bastrop... live in Buda now and work in South Austin. How old are you?

Curious to see which shop you choose and how it turns out because I'll be doing an 80e swap as well

I am 32, but just moved down from northern IN this past year. I am on the fence on just doing the work myself. I know I can get the 80e installed no problem, its just a bit heavy to man handle solo.

Taking the heads off if more my question... Though I might just throw the cam in, turbo on, and run it like that for awhile to get some baseline numbers before doing the heads. Make me feel better about the gains.

Im more than happy to accept some help!!!

I have HP Tuners for the truck, just working to get it back on the road. Seems like everytime I fix one thing, another issue pops up... For the last 1.5yrs. I have a total of 1mile on the truck since buying it, which was today. Now there are misfire issues.
