Are you taking real shop prices or like side work prices?

More run of the mill repair shops won't do this type of stuff but performance shops all vary in price per hour and it also depends if they supply the parts or you. Some might have different rates if you buy the parts instead of them.

I'd start calling around to see what is in your area but I'd still think 80-100 an hour and like 4-8 hours for install. Tuning is another cost too.

A good shop won't be cheap....if you have a NNBS 07 then it will be $1500+ as they will have to pull the heads to put in new lifters and delete the AFM, which I would recommend anyways even if its a NBS 07....a cam swap isn't hard at all...step by step instructions can be found at LS1Howto.com

Yeah cam swaps are pretty straight forward. My swap took about 4 hours but I also don’t have AFM and my truck has a 10” lift which is a pain. I do recommend getting the LS spring tool from eBay, it was like 20$ or the one from comp cams for I think 60$. Makes doing new springs a lot easier. I also recommend getting the valve seal tool from comp so you don’t wreck those nice viton seals.
