Is anyone out there using the Comp Cams XR265HR, 212/218, 558/563, 115 LSA in a 5.3? Does anyone know what kind of gains to expect from this cam? What kind of idle should I expect with an automatic? I think it is pretty close to the LS6 cam, right? I put a Lunati 221/558/114 in my SS LS1 and love it. Time to choose a cam for my truck. I will also be adding all the proven bolt-on mods with the cam and spring swap. All replies apprecaited. Thanks

 

I JUST SAW THE POST, the other day... but I can't find it now. I even have a link to it in another thread that doesn't seem to work after the upgrade.

The post had dyno results and everything. Gains were something like 35 or close to 40hp I believe. They said driveability didn't noticeable fall off. No tuning, no stalling...
