I listen to music on my computer.... so downloading music is no biggy to me. I am gunna do it no matter what.

You can either do it the cheap way, and get Morpheous and DL them for free,.. or you can pay 99cents per DL.

I wouldn't get Sirious radio... IMO, it's a complete waste of 16+taxes per month. Sure,.. no yappy commercials, well... I still have to listen to things I don't like. Thats why I would choose the IPod setup over the Sirious.

Don't get me wrong,.. my brother has XM radio in his tahoe... I liked it... many different channels that are unique and interesting to listen to... but DAMN if there weren't hundreds of other stations I wouldn't BEGIN to listen to. I just hate paying for something I know I won't listen to... AKA... Spanish channel... I am not hispanic... I don't know what they are saying... no sense in me paying for it... IMO.

I have both an iPod and XM in my vehicle and love both. The ipod because I can listen to my songs and XM because it allows me to listen to a variety. I have XM in both my vehicles and can swap my ipod from one to the other which is a hell of alot easier than moving cds around.

While on satellite radio you will pay for alot of stuff you might not listen to, you do the same thing with cable or satellite tv. I love XM and will have it in every vehicle I own.

I've had Sirius for about 2 years now and absolutley love it (prepaid subscription ). If your serious (pun intended ) about satelite radio, there's several polls and threads available with more details.

I just order a Creative Zen Micro so I can copy all my CD's onto that and play them in the truck when I'm in the mood for a particular song/cd.

I paid 400 bucks for the lifetime subscription on my sirius. It does suck to have crap you won't listen to, but dammitt...it's just too damn cool to not have commercials! Downloading is alwasy cool, but you'll want more variety, especially if you are paying fo rthe downloads...16 songs later and your paying the same as if you had a subscription to satelite. Good luck, do both...download for free and get Sirius...pun intended as well.

Xm for 2 years. Love it
I just bought a MYFI receiver cant wait to get it. Cant pass it up for $70.
MP3 players are a lot of work. I hardly use mine anymore. I wont ever use it after I get my MYFI. It has a 5 hour buffer in it.
If you get an MP3 play buy another good brand name besides Ipod and save your self some money. Ipods a good, but they are over priced. Nothing against the MAC lovers.
