1 Resonant Engineering SX 15", 5.5 cu ft ported box, tuned to 33 hertz, powered by a JBL bp1200.1 in an 02 Yukon...

I know a lil bit

www.ficaraudio.com

Fi Audio makes amazing subs. Scott (the owner of Fi) was the original product engineer of resonant engineering and one of the co-owners of RE. He sold RE to David (current owner), and David sold the company to US Amps, so people can't get near the discount now that they used to be able to.

Fi Audio Q series is comparable to my SX. It's the most "musical" sub RE makes. The BTL will beat your teeth out, but for quality and bump, go with the Q series. You won't be disappointed.

In all honesty, sell your current setup and get brand new equipment if your funds are available. They perform well in both sealed and ported, but really come alive in ported. Any other info you need, message me on AIM at RollinInAComa.
