What would cause my amp to cut out??
#21
im going to wire it like this:
1. amp + to voice coil 1 +
2. voice coil 1 - to voice coil 2 +
3. voice coil 2 - to amp -
i hope this ^^ makes sense, and doesn't catch my truck on fire or anything, lol.

not only that... that wiring he is running will result in 1 ohm...
no way that amp will run that..what you need to do is hook up the + channel to + coil and same for - on the same coil.... then wire your - + together on the other coil

sorry i have a problem with not reading everything in a post... im a "skimmer"

ok i rewired my sub to run in series, then i put it all back in and tried it out and............nothing! lol
it sucked
i took it back out and found a voice coil wire had broke off of the terminal, i rigged it back up, and it works now
it's 1,000,000x better than before when it was running at 2 ohms! lol
thanks again for the help!
