Hey thanks for looking at that for me!

I'll just take the wires off one of the voice coils tomorrow. Do you think that will affect the performance of the sub any??

oooo this is new.... sorry i didn't read.... and yes only wiring one voice coil will dramatically reduce sub performance

is there a way that i can have both wired up and not have the ohm load drop, so the amp has to work so hard?

you could wire your subs parallel so it will only be 2 ohms to your amp

i only have 1 sub w/ dual voice coils. the way i have it wired now is that the sub channel + and - go to the first voice coil's + and -, then i have the 2 voice coil's + and - wired together.

another way to explain it is that the + sub channel wire goes to the + on the first voice coil, then i have a wire that goes from that + to the + on the other voice coil. ( and of course the - is wired the same way)

i don't know a whole lot about this stuff so feel free to tell me if i did something stupid, lol
