Does anyone have a brand preference for the door speakers? I'm looking into infinity.

It's really whatever you like the sound of. I hear the infinities sound really nice, of course to get good sound out of any aftermarket speaker it needs to be properly powered. The stock radio/amp just isn't up to the task. I have some Alpine Type-R components in my doors and a 4 channel Alpine V-power 400w amp. I think it sounds damn good. I still need to get some better speakers for my rear doors though.

infinity reference are good speakers and sound pretty good even without an amp (not power hungry) but what you should really do is put 8in subs in the doors and put a set of components in the kicks then do whatever in the back (not like your actually gonna hear those anyway).

You can get 5.25's to fit in the rear with little modification.

In RC trucks rear speakers is a big imaging no-no..the ******* are like 6 inches form your head and behind you..horrible combo for anything related to sound quality. Pull the damn things out!

I used to have infiniti speakers..then someone told me "whatever you have sounds good until you've heard better"...now I don't have infinitis, I have components that cost less and sound better(alpine type r's) still not great, but theyre way better then infiniti.
