I was considering the Pioneer AVIC-N2, has anybody had any clearance issues with the screen and the gear shifter??? It looks like it may be close, I guess you could always modify it. but does it clear?

Mine will hit the shifter when it's in drive if you don't pull out on the shifter, like you about to shift it. It doesn't hit in drive. I leave my screen out about 95% of the time.

Panasonic CQ-DF802U . Mainly run Clarion and Pioneer. I tried this one because of the ghost face. Sound quality is not that bad. Better than I thought it would be. The finger prints on the face drove me nuts for the first couple months. Now I am use to it.

Click below it is the eight one down. Click on FM (and hold down) on the face to see the ghost face. You will need java.
