Default Voltage issues after turbo install

I've been having some driveability issues lately with my turbo setup. we solved some of them by making some changes to the trans settings. But now i'm having random voltage issues.

example 1: cruising down the road, 50mph, 2000rpm, barely touching the throttle. headlights, dash lights dim, voltage gauge drops to 11ish. Let off the gas and it comes back to normal 14+

example 2: fired the truck up after it sat for 12hrs. headlights and dash lights were dim. tapped the gas a few times and they came back to normal. voltage again went from 11-14ish.

What could be causing this? The battery and alternator are newish. (2months old)

sounds to me like it could be your alternator. When you see 11volts you are probably running off the battery because the alternator is not supplying the 14v charge. See if you can make it happen while at idle and then put a multimeter across the alternator to see if you are getting 14v, check and make sure the belts are all tight as well. I dont see the oil return pump causing this, you'd blow the fuse if there was a short somewhere and the pump wouldnt work. Also check the grounds and all connections - battery and alternator - make sure they look clean with no corrosion and they are all tight.
