I am putting a new under dash harness in my truck and the junkyard had this plug cut half way down the harness, I need to know what it goes to and see if I need to take it back

I could be wrong but I think that goes to the body control module (bcm)

It came out of an 06 Silverado 1500 Z71 with all options except heated seats and leather.

The reason I don't think it's the BCM plug is because this plug isn't on my harness that I pulled out of it (03 Silverado 1500 WT)

I vote BCM as well... they grey box is by your left foot under the dash

What is that?

That is the cut plug that the wires run to from the other plug originally listed in the thread, its around the same plugs as the BCM/Under steering column.

Also, this harness is from a Extended cab and my truck is a Standard cab, so he could have cut something off that wasn't needed, as I had mentioned to him that I have a single cab.
