Default Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade Sub Enclosures?

I just finished installing my new amps and part of the sounddeadening in my Tahoe and now I need to move on to the sub enclosure. I am currently running two 10W1 in a sealed enclosure left over from the 10W0's I had in my truck untill I build a more permenant solution. I was considering a fiberglass enclosure around the rear driver wheelwell where the factory sub is or a down firing sealed enclosure just sitting in the cargo area. I would perfer the hidden enclosure to save cargo room but have never done fiberglass before and I am not completely sure there is enough room there for both of the W1's. What type of enclosures are you guys running in your GM SUV's and how do you like their sound?

I run an 8" JL sub in the stock box in the rear drivers wheelwell, as well as a JL Stealth Box in the center console. I chose this set-up since I wanted everything hidden and needed my cargo area. It sounds pretty descent. I'm not blowing out windows or anything, but it's clean. I have seen someone build a fiberglass box like you talk about, but I'm not sure how it sounds or if it was worth the effort for the sound he got.

I have a single 10W1 in a sealed box and the amp tucked in the rear driver's wheelwell. Sounds real clean and you can't tell it's there, my car has been broken into twice and the sub and amp have survived each time. I will get some pics up this weekend.

Thanks, I would appreciat the pics. If I can't fit both of my 10W1 in the well, I may just use one.

Big Tap... I have also thought of doing subs in the two locations you have yours. What model JL do you have installed in the factory sub enclosure? Does it's sound match the stelth box in your console?

My bad, forgot I said I would post up pics, here you go:

(I was adjusting the gain on the amp, that's why it's unscrewed. It normally is screwed down and tucked back in there)

The work was done by Custom Car Stereo in Houston.

Thanks for the pics. I have been so busy lately this got put on the back burner for now. It looks like won't be able to do 2 subs in that area unless I modify the panel to get rid of the little storage compartment in it. Your pics really help me visualize what I can/can't do. Thanks.

I haven't had a chance to tackle this project yet but hope to soon so I am bringing it back up for additional ideas. I am still debating a down fireing enclosure with a directional slot for both subs or placing one of them in the stock sub location.
