Default Tach wiring???

ok so i got all of my tach wired in exept the green wire that is supposed to go to the coil. autometer says that you have to use a module for distributerless ignition. im thinkin that there is got to be a way around that. so guys with tachs let me know where you ran your wiring. thanks

rpm signal wire for the tach is white going into the back of the cluster I believe thats what the green wire on the autometer gauge is for if so then splice into the white wire and you will have a working tach.
