Subwoofer upgrade 2005 Ext cab

So I am looking to upgrade the subs in my 05 Gibbs ext cab. Currently I have a set of RE audio 10's in a downfire box with a 500 watt amp and I am NOT happy with the performance and sound of them in that box. It was something quick I picked up a few years back to get some sound in my truck but now I am sick of it and its flat sound.

The cubic space is much more then what I currently have so that is a plus, I don't haul around passengers in the back seat much so I don't care about them losing foot space. Thanks in advance!

I have two 12s in a rcsb, in a box that dont have that much volume and it sounds pretty good, so if i was guessing it would sound pretty good.
what is the peak for the subs?? might need a bigger amp to..
