stereo won't shut off

Default stereo won't shut off
out of the blue my stereo stays on when i shut the car off and remove keys with door open. it used to automatically shut off it just does it randomly now. any ideas? 05 sierra.

Bad RAP relay. Get a new one.

It could also be a bad door switch, do the lights come on and off with the door normally?

yes. all lights shut off. stereo stays on and gauge cluster appears to stay lit also.
