What year is it?
I'm deployed at the moment but I can still look up some pics. Or if you have any of your doors...

It's a 2007.5 Silverado crew cab. I don't have any pictures of the doors but I do have the tweeters on the A-pillar...I'm not sure if all the trucks have them but mine does, though I don't have the Bose system

So I think I'm going to run a separate 4-channel amp for the door speakers and then run that Kicker package setup I posted before, and possibly upgrade the amp on that in the future if needed. Now the question becomes where to mount them??? Lol

What do you think of this amp?

WOW! 1200 watts for $66 seams a little, well, a joke. Sorry.

most of the "deal" amp brands I see are flea market Chinese stuff.

I'm picky but I think I paid $350 for my 20 something year old amp that's a legit 240 watts. Back when it was new it would actually been expensive.

1200 watts should cost a lot more than mine and be a couple feet long.

Check out some of these:
5-channel Amplifiers at Crutchfield.com
Nice thing with the single 5 channel, is it can run all the speakers, most have all the crossovers you could need, and just need one power wire and mounting location.

For mounting the amp, I just put mine under the passenger seat.

Not sure if I said it already but I'm deployed overseas. My wife is gonna try to take some pics of mine tomorrow.

So I see tons and tons of amps very similar to that one in terms of size and watt rating, is that not what they're actually rated at? And they're well known brands, etc.

So I've been chatting with the guys over at Crutchfield, both of the support guys recommended this sub for the door speakers:

Rockford Fosgate Prime R300X4 4-channel car amplifier — 50 watts RMS x 4 at Crutchfield.com

And this one for the sub box I posted earlier:

Kicker 12CX300.1 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 300 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

Seems od they're trying to sell you two small amps totaling 5 channels and not just sell you a 5 channel amp. Both brands have them available. I just recommend it for ease and simplicity.
My comment about power is proven with those two. The sub amp looks nice and its 150 watts, that $1 a watt. The 4 channel at 200 watts a little cheaper per but not 1200 watts.

This is what they recommended if I wanted to run them all off of one amp....but the two other amps was a total of $300 not $500 anyway
